Yacht of the Year 2024 is...

On the first evening of the boot Düsseldorf trade fair, the 2024 European Powerboat of the Year awards were presented. The jury consisted of editors and testers from eight European magazines from Norway, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. They selected the winners based on design, handling, safety, and value for money.

In the powerboat categories, the winners were chosen from a total of 250 models. 34 nominated boats reached the final selection. However, only seven of them were awarded in the competition's individual categories.

Boats up to 8 meters
Ibiza 601

Length: 6.1 m
Beam: 2.25 m

The smallest Yacht of the Year 2024 is the Ibiza 601. It is a boat suitable for short, daytime sea trips in good weather conditions. The model is relatively affordable and easy to maintain. It is equipped with a 50 Hp Yamaha F50 HETL engine. The Ibiza 601 is considered a suitable first vessel for people with little or no sea experience.

Sea Ray SLX 260

Length: 7.85 m
Beam: 2.59 m

Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser

The Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser is a great maritime experience for the whole family. The model is available with 2 or 3 cabins, a large galley, and a bar module. The conveniently located seat with a counter next to the pilot station serves as an extra area from which you can watch the view, turn it into a remote office, or a navigation point. The winner in the 14-meter Yacht of the Year 2024 category relies on Volvo Penta propulsion with Zipwake interceptors for additional control.

Azimut Magellano 60
