What is Jaltest MARINE diagnostics?

Simply put, Jaltest MARINE works on the principle of diagnostic equipment that connects to your car's onboard computer, for example. In practice, it allows us to read all the information about the condition of your yacht's engine and systems. This is how we detect flaws, failures, or deviations in the proper functioning of the engine, brakes, etc.

Then, with the help of the same device, we can make the necessary adjustments, reprogram a malfunctioning system, or calibrate the engine, brakes, etc.

What exactly does Jaltest MARINE do?

Some of the most distinctive features of the device are:
• Reads and clears error codes in real-time;
• Identifies electronic devices;
• Sends instructions to various systems – we can issue a command to turn on a fan, shut off a cylinder, etc.;
• Activates and calibrates components;
• Resets service maintenance data;
• Performs technical data checks on the machine, depending on the engine make and model;
• Draws graphs, displays diagrams, and hints at what is happening "under the hood";
• Checks safety systems;
• Collects data for every diagnosed vessel and maintains a history of failures and performed repairs.

Where did we obtain the equipment?

The Jaltest equipment was supplied to us by our good friends and partners from Actuator LABS EOOD, who are the official representatives of the Cojali brand, which develops and manufactures Jaltest equipment.

Our lead mechanic, Radoslav Kirilov, underwent detailed training on how to use Jaltest MARINE diagnostics. During the briefing, Actuator LABS manager Stefan Tutekov demonstrated some of the diagnostic device's capabilities for yacht maintenance.
