The leading Swedish trim control system Zipwake presented a new module for integrated connection with MFDs and smart devices. The product was launched at the Metstrade 2022 international exhibition, which took place from November 15-17 in Amsterdam.
What is the Zipwake Integrator Module?
Zipwake’s new integrator module is a step forward for the top-of-the-line brand. It provides complete integration of the trim control system. The device connects the interceptors directly to the multi-function displays on your dashboard and/or smart devices on board your yacht. This way, it is not necessary to connect additional screens and install control panels. The module can be connected to up to 3 control panels for easier control.
The Zipwake Integrator Module is compatible with most of the current MFDs on the market. The connection takes place via an ethernet interface. In this way, the user can monitor and manage the system including through his smartphone or tablet.
Specifications of the new Zipwake integrator module
The module has extremely compact dimensions – approximately 184 x 112 x 42.5 mm and weighs only 350 grams. The element will not take up extra space and does not require special attention when choosing a location for its installation. You can simply place it behind the dashboard, in the cabin or even in the engine room of the vessel. The module is certified IP67 waterproof and withstands temperatures from -20 to +85 degrees Celsius.
